This one is straightforward enough.
The final original member of Sugababes - Keisha Buchanan - announced her departure from the trio this week, thereby ensuring that the group will continue, like Brighton's own formerly beloved Pipettes, without any of the original singers.
As the mighty Simon Price puts it on Twitter, "[I] can't believe the Sugababes have 'done a Pipettes'. Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan should get together as The Original Sugababes for a laugh."
Of course, part of the attraction of The Sugababes was that they totally the sort of girls that the Pipettes sang about in 'Judy', the sort of girls who would "kick [your] shit all over the place". Or, as Wendy Roby put it on Twitter, "the sort of girls who beat me up in PE" and "pull your hair when teacher wasn't looking".
The only question that remains is, should I post a picture of Sugababes or Pipettes? Let's make do with videos from both.
