Trying to compile a second mix CD for another friend's night in London.
My brief this time is that it will contribute to a sort of twee pop lucky dip on the night, and that various notables (among them favourites such as MJ Hibbett, The Lovely Eggs and The School) are playing live sets. Sweet. Wish I could be there. Takes place at one of my favourite London venues as well.

Hey, ever thought of posting a link to your mixes? Or do you not do thnat kind of thing? I think a lot of people might appreciate them - or a few people might appreciate them a lot maybe?
ReplyDeleteGreat to see some tunes by the Legend! on there. Do you get royalties?
Dude, I think it's a lovely idea. Not too clear on the legalities of same, however.
ReplyDeleteWell, if you render the mp3 at a low enough bit-rate (check me sounding like I know what I'm on about) they'd be useless for nasty bootleggers. You could legitimately claim any mix is merely a promotional device, which they kinda would be.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not sure about all this, obviously, but it might be worth checking out. Lots of people do that kind of stuff without any problem, myself included, and I think your readers would really appreciate it.
