What song would you like played at your funeral?

Quick snap poll. Here are some current favourites. I kinda second the "Roads Will Take You There" choice.

Jerry
1. Ice Cream Man - The Modern Lovers (from Modern Lovers Live)
It's sweet and poignant and has any number of false endings.
2. Baby I Love You - Ramones (from End Of The Century)
Joey sings Ronnie! That's about as great as it gets. Plus, it was our wedding song.
3. Oh, Happy Day - Edwin Hawkins Singers
This is actually my current choice. My dad, rest his soul, had a song that I'd written with Verity Susman played at his cremation.
4. Stop! Your Crying - Chin Chin
The chorus is appropriate. "Stop! your crying/It makes no sense."
5. White Horses - Jacky
Perfect love: unobtainable.

Charlotte
1. What A Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong
2. Hey, Bulldog - Rolf Harris
3. Roads Will Take You There! - ABC Playschool
4. Till There Was You - Peggy Lee
5. Going Home - Snowbirds

  8. 'Sleepwalk.' The RITCHIE VALENS version, not the original by SANTO AND JOHNNY. Then a liberal dose of SAM COOKE. Gotta go out with the classics that have moved me on a spiritual level through my life.

Pretend we're dead. Hopefully that may fuel some Micheal Jackson "not really dead" rumours and keep the dream alive.
