I'm not suggesting for one second you should go to these sites and download the music for free, thereby depriving artists of their hard-won royalties. I'm just alerting you to their presence. Maybe you could download the music, listen to it once, feel awfully guilty, delete it and then send the appropriate people some financial gesture of your appreciation? Just a thought.

And this one is just killer for Great 80s DIY and Pop, period.

I think these guys encourage exploration more than greed more than most music blogs and I reckon they might even influence labels that focus on reissues of strange and obscure out of print material.
