All 46 issues of Plan B magazine 2004-2009 are available now to download FREE (PDF format) at the Plan B website. It makes me feel so proud, that I was part of this. Respect due to all the folk back in London and Brighton, and everywhere.
I dunno. The contention when we started was that it should be possible to create a music magazine that everyone involved in cared passionately about, and to even pay some of those people for their time. And I think Plan B had a pretty good run at that.
It still seems remarkably straightforward to me how to create a great music magazine: just CARE about what you do, and show the same respect to the way you frame your appreciation and love for the music as you do to the music itself. Keep the design clean: because you're proud of the words and images. It's what to leave out, that's the important thing. Knowing what to leave out.
A month or so back, the NME website ran a photo slide-show of covers of 14 "music magazines of yesteryear". I had been in charge of four of them, at one point or another. I don't know what that says about me.

I think it depends on whether the torrent host is on-line or not. Keep trying. I know folk who've managed to download it in the last few days.
