There's a moment in a recent Dr Who when the Doctor confronts Bernard Cribbins' character, and asks belligerently, "Why are you so linked to my fate", or something similar. I feel the same way sometimes about this man.
All of his bands and music have linked through my life since the early 80s. And Sportique - one of his latest incarnations - just, ah gee whiz, just make me feel so glad to know and be so aware of his music. This song, in particular.
