I reckon this to be one of the best reviews I've written in a while. But I could be wrong.
I'd invite you all to write in and vote as to which is your favourite (Elvis Costello, Wolfmother, Vivian Girls, Wavves, the Playground columns, Arctic Monkeys, etc etc), if I thought anybody actually read any of my stuff any more.

...and that is precisely why I like Wolfmother. Well articulated, ET.

"At least they're not Jet or the Vines" .... It's funny 'cause it's true.

they're Jet AND the vines - horrible.
ReplyDeleteLenny Kravitz called and he wants his lack of talent back... you want a guitarist/band to believe in..? Look no further than this lot - http://www.myspace.com/airburst - Tom Hannon is a very talented young fellow, and, for once, he's for real. Strummer/Cobain/Hendrix want their DNA back.!
ReplyDeleteFor all the outrage at blatent riff robbery this album is fun and funny all at the same time once you stop taking them seriously. I particularly enjoy White Feather for the ability to rework the riff to Start Me Up over the top of a Physical Graffiti drum groove. jaydee
ReplyDeleteQuit bitching about how nobody reads your blog, we all know it's not true. Also, I think Soundgarden suck. Don't know what I think of Wolfmother because I haven't listened to them.
