Do more interviews ET. Proper lengthy ones. I was reading an interview you did with Screaming Trees circa 'Dust' and it was right good.

trouble with those, Louis - as I'm sure you appreciate - is that they're done face-to-face. It's near impossible to capture such intimacy via email or on the telephone. Although I suppose I could start recording my interviews, rather than insist on simultaneously transcribing them.

Actually, lengthy interviews are a good idea. everything is a bit too bite-size these days - drives me mad!

Mm, it's more difficult to get 'colour' from phoners but it can still be done. Some of the least revealing interviews I've ever done have been face to face, but good subject is a good subject however you talk to them.

Recording them is definitely useful though!

we're supposed to be setting up an ex-bee blog which cd function as a collective - so no pressure on any one person to blog so much (with current blogtech, readers cd likewise fillet the blog to one voice - or topic - with a single click).
