Song of the day - 115: Blessure Grave

Some dark Goth for you all.

It's the best imitation of Joy Division I've heard in around three decades - i.e it isn't really an imitation of Joy Division at all. There again, they do call their new cassette Unknown Blessures. I'm not sure if I don't detect the hand of my friend Nathan from The Gossip in this, but he assures me he has nothing to with it. He was just the tip-off. From San Diego, and it's clear that Blessure Grave understand the power and reach of their music, if nothing else.

Here. Have a listen.

Who would have thought the link between San Diego and Hobart, Tasmania would be so strong?

  1. Surely Russia's Motorama are the best JD impersonators?

  3. Yeah, I like them - but they're way more Siouxsie (or Xmal Deutschland), aren't they?
