  • Music isn't a competition.





  • Taste is not fixed.





  • Taste is not as communal as the media would have us believe.





  • There is little point in linking to whatever everyone else is linking to.





  • I like pop music.





  • I prefer not to differentiate between different styles of music - unless, of course, it amuses me to do so.





  • You're a bloody idiot if you believed a tagline like that, anyway. What do you think this is? Pitchfork?
