Erm...."Casper".."Hate Song"...."Walking The Cow"..."Speeding Motorcycle" (Pastels version almost as good)..."The Beatles"....actually, 5's nowhere near enough, is it? Just about everything he did for Shimmy Disc, for a start.

These aren't necessarily my 5 favorite songs (although they could be!) but I could easily make the case for each of them being a timeless classic. Walking the Cow, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Speeding Motorcycle, True Love Will Find You in the End and Worried Shoes. 4 of the 5 have achieved their status based on the number of times they've been covered and/or the quality of some of those covers. I can't think of a significant cover of Casper but it's certainly one of the best songs Daniel has ever written.
