This is not to decry the efforts of organiser Blair Hughes, who put the collection together - and indeed put a similar collection together last year that served as a timely (and welcome) introduction to Brisbane for me. And it's not to have a pop at the individual writer, who doubtless has energy and enthusiasm by the lorry-load to compensate for their somewhat cliched take on the English language. But sweet Bangs! Don't they have editors at these papers?
